what is mobile massage? how does it work? What to expect.

If you've never experienced an in-home massage, you may have some questions. And I have answers!

To start the process of having an appointment for massage therapy in your home, you may call or text us. We will ask you a few questions to find the most suitable therapist for your needs and location (we currently serve Punta Gorda, FL, and the surrounding areas). We will look over the schedule and find a day and time that works best for you. Once the appointment has been determined, we will gather a little information such as your email address and physical location. Per our company policy, we will send out an invoice for a deposit to all new clients. The appointment will be tentatively held for you, allowing 24 hours for payment. When the payment is received, you will get an email and text confirming your appointment. You will also have a client intake form emailed to you. The form can be completed online prior to your appointment. This form must be complete before the massage can proceed. This is now a state law that requires licensed massage therapists to collect and store complete client information.

You will receive reminder emails and text messages with a picture of your therapist so you will know who to expect. The therapist will arrive promptly at the appointment time, and you will show them where they should set up the equipment. It will take only a few minutes to set up the massage table and supplies. If you have never had a massage or in-home massage, the therapist will explain how to position yourself on the table, what to expect, etc. They will ask if you have any questions. Feel free to talk to the therapist before your massage begins about any questions you may have. The therapist will excuse themselves to wash their hands and give you privacy while you find a comfortable spot on the massage table. The therapist will ask if you are ready before they re-enter the treatment area. Your massage will proceed just as if you were in a spa. You will be encouraged to relax and truly receive all the benefits of massage therapy with the fabulous addition of the convenience of in-home professional massage.

After the massage is complete, the therapist will inform you they are finished. Take a moment to lie still and breathe deeply. The therapist will again excuse themselves to wash their hands while you dress (slip on the comfy house dress or robe!). No need to engage your brain! We will invoice you for the balance of your treatment, and you can pay online at your convenience. We also accept cash and checks, which you can have ready at the start. Again, you can stay in the major relaxation state as long as you like!

A few minutes after your massage is all the therapist needs to break down the equipment and pack up to leave. You will have the rest of your time to do what you want. No driving to and fro. No traffic, no crowds, no waiting rooms...
